Kentucky State Police and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office confirms dozens of vehicles were broken into overnight, including a Kentucky State Trooper's car.
The exact number of smash and grab robberies isn't known yet. Reports from homeowners are still coming in, says Sinclair Media which got its information from the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
A sheriff's spokesman says that the numbers of victims is huge and the department is still gathering information this Friday evening.
