Boy was struck by
vehicle driven by Burlington man

On Monday, September 18, 2017 at approximately 4:05 p.m. a vehicle collision near the intersection of Aero Parkway and Turfway Road near Florence, Kentucky sent the juvenile pedestrian to the hospital via Air Care with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Eleven year old Anderson Carter of Florence was crossing near the intersection when he was struck by an oncoming 2001 Toyota Avalon operated by Jeffrey Clark, 25 of Burlington, Kentucky.

While the collision is still being investigated initial indicators are that Carter, who was running/training with members of his school running team, stepped out in traffic in front of the oncoming car.
